Toby Hadoke

Toby HadokeToby is an actor and comedian, much of whose work is informed by his love of Doctor Who, including his acclaimed shows Moths Ate My Doctor Who Scarf and My Stepson Stole My Sonic Screwdriver.

Apart from his comedy, Toby is also well known for his very long running and rather wonderful podcast Toby Hadoke’s Who’s Round and for his work on a number of BBC DVD extras and commentaries.

Toby played the racist barman in the BBC’s Doctor Who anniversary special, An Adventure in Space and Time and has a recurring role in the Big Finish Fourth Doctor Adventures as Mr Dorrick, minion to the evil Cuthbert. With Rob Shearman Toby is the author of the Running Through Corridors books from Mad Norwegian Press, the second volume of which covering the 1970s, was published earlier this year. He has recently been working with Fantom Films, presenting their Cult Conversations DVD range and moderating their Doctor Who alternative commentaries CD series, Who Talk.

Toby joined us briefly at Whooverville 8 as a sponsored guest, but this year we are delighted that he is he returning as a full official Whooverville guest.
