Christopher Benjamin

Christopher BenjaminIn a career of over 50 years, Christopher Benjamin became one of the most familiar faces on British television and played roles in some of the UK’s biggest cult shows, including three episodes of The Avengers and three episodes of The Prisoner. He was also seen in shows such as Danger Man, Upstairs Downstairs, The Forsyte Saga, Dick Turpin and When the Boat Comes In, as well as in the Peter Tinniswood comedy, It Takes a Worried Man, in which he co-starred as The Old Man.

Christopher played three memorable Doctor Who roles, as Sir Keith Gold in Inferno, Henry Gordon Jago in The Talons of Weng Chiang and Colonel Curbishley in The Unicorn and the Wasp. In recent years Christopher has returned to the role of Jago alongside the late Trevor Baxter for Big Finish’s hugely popular Jago & Litefoot audio plays.

For Fantom Films, Christopher has recently recorded an alternative commentary for Talons in the Who Talk series, which he will be signing at Whooverville at a cost of £15. A reminder that as a sponsored guest, Christopher will charge for autographs. Signed photographs or signatures on personal items will cost £10.

Our grateful thanks go to Dexter and Paul at Fantom, for bringing us such a splendid guest, whom we look forward immensely to meeting.
